Seventeen years ago Geoffrey's bronze "Blue Thunder" standing at 16 feet tall was installed at Harborage Yacht Club in Stuart, Florida. This beautiful public art piece depicts a life size blue marlin with tuna. It is a symbol for our local love of fishing and appreciation of the ocean as well as art in Stuart, Florida.

This is just one of Geoffrey's many pieces that are installed in historic Downtown Stuart, Florida.

From Geoffrey's Desk

One of the most common questions that Geoffrey is asked is "where do you get your inspiration?" So we asked Geoffrey for you.

"My inspiration comes from the natural world around us. I saw a chipmunk on the porch while visiting a friend in Tennessee, so I sculpted a chipmunk.

"The research and observation for my art goes much deeper than an encounter or photograph. It is countless hours that add up to years trekking through the Everglades, hiking in the Rockies, diving the Caribbean or sitting on my dock. The photographs and notes I bring home with me serve as references for my sculptures. Please view and enjoy these photos and quick video that have inspired me."

If you have any questions for Geoffrey about his art or the process please don't hesitate to ask.
